Activated alumina
Activated alumina is a synthetically produced aluminum oxide in a smooth, spherical form. It has a high crush strength, is highly porous, and can have surface areas of up to 300 m2/g, making it an excellent desiccant for both liquids and gases. Our adsorbent activated alumina will preferentially adsorb highly polar molecules.Highly porous in nature, aluminas can be effective desiccants and have numerous applications in catalysis as well.
